Are you a Breath of the Wild player wondering how to get to Shee Vaneer Shrine? Then you are not alone, as most players find it rather hard to access the Shee Vaneer Shrine location. This is a very hard to reach shrine, especially if you’re new to the game and didn’t explore the world that much. With that in mind, we created a quick set of guidelines on how you can reach the Shee Vaneer Shrine properly and how you can traverse all the obstacles and challenges inside. If you are interested in it, check it out right away.
This shrine is one of the multiple shrines you can find in the Dueling Peaks region of the game. With that being said, this shrine is also connected to the Shee Venath Shrine, this is done via a special ball puzzle that you must complete in both Shrines. If you complete this, then you will be able to get 2 spirit orbs. It’s quite a clever idea, since you get to explore both shrines and receive a great reward.
How can you enter the Shee Vaneer Shrine:
- Go to the top of the Southern Peak of the Dueling Peaks.
- When you get there, look down a bit and you will see the shrine.
- If you want to climb it, then you should do that via the southwest ascent because it’s easier to do
- A good rule of thumb is to start with the Sheer Vaneer Shrine at first, then you can climb to the south side of the mountain.
- Find ledges where you can catch your breath, and once you are done with the shrine, paraglide down from the peak to the north. Then you can access the Shee Venath Shrine.
This area is along the “Seek Out Impa” quest objective route. It can be a bit tricky to scale all those inclines, so you will need plenty of patience. A lot of stamina is required, so there are players that will learn how to get to the Shee Vaneer Shrine later in the game. You can also load up on meals like the Enduring Mushroom Skewer that will help increase your stamina quickly.
For most people, the obvious route is to just climb near the river and the Dueling Peaks tower. The truth is that going from the north or south is better in most cases. You will have gentler slopes, so the process will be quite a lot easier. It will take a bit of trial and error to figure out what route you want, and the results can be great!
A good tip when you climb the southern peek towards the Shee Vaneer Shrine location is to take some cold resistant gear. It’s quite the climb, so you will encounter a cold environment here. Which is why proper gear can indeed make a difference. Another thing to note is that there are a few Korod Seed puzzles at both summits, so make sure that you grab them too. It’s not mandatory, but if you strive to complete the game, this can be a very good idea.
How can you solve the Shee Vaneer Shrine?
After you learn how to get to Shee Vaneer Shrine and actually reach it, you will have to pay a lot of attention to both of these shrines. When you enter the shrine, you will be able to read the following message:
“The shrines atop these peaks share a connection – their memory the answer to the other’s question. Commit to memory before you start, lest, a failure, you will depart”.
The message is cryptic, but it does say quite a lot about what you need to do. This shrine has a 5×5 grid of sockets, and there’s a single ball found in a socket for every row. The idea here is that you need to remember the location of the balls in a shrine, and then use the same in the other one. This way you will get to solve the puzzle without a problem.
What you want to do is to use the elevating platform, as this gives you a much better view for the entire floor. You must start from left to right and top to bottom with these positions: 2nd, 4th, 1st, 3rd and 5th. If you go to the Shee Venath Shrine, the positions will be 5, 1, 2, 4, 2. Pay attention to the guidelines, it’s easy to remember once you visit both of them.
Simply put, you just have to go to the first shrine, see the initial orb position, visit the second one to do the same thing, and then you just have to move the orbs so you can match the pattern of that first shrine. You can then revisit the first shine to just place the orbs in the guided pattern.
It’s a clever idea and it works quite well, which is something to take into consideration. In case you moved the orbs out of place, then all you have to do is to exit the shrine and come back again. This will reset everything, and you will be good to go. It helps a lot, and it makes the experience a whole lot better than you imagine. You can just snap screenshots or just write the position on a piece of paper.
Where can you find the treasure chest in the Shee Vaneer Shrine?
After you know the Shee Vaneer Shrine location, you will definitely want to focus on finding the treasure chest here as well. Of course, this is not mandatory, but a chest like this comes with great loot, and it’s certainly something you need to focus on. What you need to know is that the chest is hiding in the same place in both shrines.
You must ride the moving platform and reach the observation platform above. Then you can see a ledge that’s behind the wall which is very close to the platform. Once you access the ledge in question, you will see the treasure chest. Go there, access all those goodies, and you will be able to jump, glide and do a U-Turn to complete everything. It certainly helps, and you will be impressed with the results and the entire experience. This is well worth it, and you will not have to worry about any issues that might arise.
Is it worth it to visit the Shee Vaneer Shrine?
Even if you know the Shee Vaneer Shrine location, the question is whether you want to visit this shrine or not. Aside from getting the orb, you also want to access all that amazing loot in the chest. So yes, it’s well worth it to give it a try, because there’s quite a lot of stuff to be had in there. And in the end, it’s totally worth checking out as quickly as possible. People love the Shee Vaneer Shrine because it’s a part of two shrines connected to one another.
Which is why the quest itself is great here, since you have to navigate the puzzles as you try to reach the other location without a problem. As we mentioned earlier, reaching the Shee Vaneer Shrine location does require a lot of stamina, so this particular shrine is hard to reach in the beginning. But it’s still worth checking out, and you will be quite impressed with the results and experience. Just use that to your own advantage, and you will be incredibly happy with the process and results every time.
What set is ideal for reaching the Shee Vaneer Shrine?
Based on our experience, when you learn how to get to Shee Vaneer Shrine, it’s a good idea to have the Warm Doublet/Snowquill set. This is a very good set because it gives you at least tier 1 cold resistance. This is needed if you want to reach the shrine properly, so try to take that into consideration if possible. It’s a great idea to check it out for yourself, and you will find that it works super nicely. Of course, you’re not limited solely to these sets. There are many other options to focus on, but this is a good set that everyone should be able to get their hands on with ease, especially in the beginning.
If you complete the Twin Memories trial from the Sheikah Monk Shee Vaneer, then you will be able to receive a spirit orb. It’s a great way for you to acquire more orbs, and you will find that it’s nothing short of amazing the way you reach it, the gameplay itself and so on. Even the puzzle you have to complete inside the shrine takes some tinkering and thinking. That’s what makes it so engaging and interesting, and you should totally check it out right now.
How many shrines are in Breath of the Wild?
Aside from the Shee Vaneer Shrine, you can find many other shrines in the entire game. There are 120 shrines in total, and each one has its own challenges and enemies that you need to battle. It’s engaging and a lot of fun to go through all shrines, but some like the Shee Vaneer Shrine have some puzzles that can be quite challenging to complete.
Plus, you have to know the place where these shrines are. The truth is that the Shee Vaneer Shrine location is quite hard to locate, which is why we offered guidelines earlier in the article on how to get it. There are many other shrines in the game that can be difficult to reach too, but it’s all a matter of exploration and using your resilience and gear to tackle all of these challenges. It’s definitely not easy, but it will be worth it, and that’s the thing you want to take into consideration as much as you can. It’s definitely worth your time and effort.
Also, aside from the Shee Vaneer Shrine and many other puzzle based shrines, you can also find some free shrines in the game. What that means is that you will have shrines that just have the spirit orb and treasure chest in there. Which is great, if you want to focus on completion and not really worry about anything else. That’s definitely worth checking out, and you will be very happy with the results and experience every time.
Tips and tricks to make your gameplay better:
- When you’re climbing towards the Shee Vaneer Shrine location, you want to stop climbing a little bit. This will allow you to catch a breath and you will find it easier to reach the peek and that shrine in particular. Which is why you don’t want to continue climbing, unless you already have a lot of stamina. Otherwise this trick will help a lot, and you will find it works very well.
- Get some arrows with you, just in case. There might be some enemies nearby, so might as well be fully prepared for any challenges and issues that might appear. It’s always a very good idea to have some with you anyway, just to be safe.
- What a lot of people don’t know is that you can leave the Shee Vaneer Shrine unfinished if you can’t find its solution. The game progress is saved automatically, so you can come back to it. However, combat trials reset if you leave. Yet shrines that have progress will automatically save what you did.
As you can see, reaching the Shee Vaneer Shrine location requires some effort. And even if you get there, it will be quite the experience and a lot of fun to try and solve everything, then master all those challenges properly. Yes, this is not a walk in the park, but with the right planning and if you follow our guidelines, things will be a lot easier. The Shee Vaneer Shrine is one of those shrines with an interesting gameplay idea and the puzzle is very cool too. So it’s definitely worth checking out!
